If you're a regular to my blog, the Fresh Laces name won't be a new one to you. If not, Fresh Laces is a sneaker and lifestyle event that launched its first event back in April.
If you missed out, check out Grime Report TV's video of the first event below:

There are plenty other videos of the first event, so if you're gutted you missed out, (if you did, you should be) then for 6 days only, Fresh Laces are holding a Pop-up shop in London's Brick Lane.

Fresh Laces are going to be hosting up to 20 brands in a trendy gallery setting including the likes of Save Our Soles, Sports Dimension, Elisha Francis and Crook Street.

Throughout the week they will have live music, live graffiti art and not to forget, they'll bring us the best in UK trainers and streewear.

After the well deserved success of their first event, you don't want to miss out this time! As well as hosting some amazing fashion and accessory brands, not to mention the exclusive sneakers, the Pop Up shop will showcase a Tattoo Booth courtesy of Long Island Ink. There is so much entertainment and I am so excited for the launch event!
There is no doubt I'll be making a couple stops there during the 6 days, so I hope to see you there!

Firstly, I want to apologise for being a bit quiet over the past couple of weeks but with the University year coming to an end things have been pretty hectic! Athough I couldn't not post about the big fat teaser Size? left us with a couple of days ago on their Instagram.

The Air Max Lights have become a sort of favourite shoe for Size? Exclusives, this year alone we have seen 4 colourways released. However, from the sneak peak picture it does look like these could be the best colourways yet!

The Air Max Light "Safari" are releasing exclusively at Size? retailers on the 7th June, in what appears to be a "Mowabb" colourway and then in a loud Pink and Black colourway, which appears to be the favourite since the picture surfaced. The two pairs carry the safari print onto the swoosh which is such a smart final touch. These are no doubt going to be a popular release, and yet again Size? haven't failed to impress.

What do you think? Will you be picking up a pair?

Last Friday was an absolutely ridiculous day for post as you're about to find out. I havet to apologise that it's taken me so long to get round to posting about my Patta delivery, but with exams and other responsibilities it's been a little hard to find the time!

When the collection dropped last week I was reeeally impressed with all the pieces, and with a limited budget being a student, I was at first going to restrict myself to one item, but that was near impossible. I then decided was going to buy the "Get Nailed" tee and the white Allover print vest with navy script, but the more I looked at the collection, the more I kept changing my mind.

In the end I stuck with the "Get Nailed" tee and I am so glad I did. Its such a gorgeous print. The green nails are so vibrant in real life too, my pictures just don't do it justice, was really impressed. Yet again the quality of the tees never fails too impress and the softness actually surpassed my expectations this time!

You can still pick this up online at Patta, but be quick!

After much deliberation, I finally decided on the "Magic" tee as well. This print has been popular and I understand why. It's now sold out online and so in reality I'm really pleased I picked this up because I reckon I really would have regretted it later.

The sizing of these shirts is similar to that of my Big Dot Tee. I'm very used to buying Mediums in the majority of the tees I wear, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to size down for the SS13 Coach Jacket releasing at the end of the month.

I'd also like to make the point that it was a real nice surprise seeing the post and packaging costs to the UK have gone down and again I can't fault it. Patta always provide efficient delivery and I was so happy to come home to this parcel after my exam.

There will be a few more posts up shortly on some of the other brilliant things that arrived at my door last week so watch this space!

It's Gallery combines street art from artists all around the world and supports them in creating interesting projects that set the mood and change the look of their cities. Street Kit in their own words  are "a platform for young artists".

On the hunt for Parra decks I came across Street Kit's website and I felt like I'd struck a gold mine! They were so helpful and really accommodating for the fact I couldn't place an order through their site because I couldn't understand the language! With a smooth and easy order and a speedy delivery my deck arrived, and it's gorgeous!
Streek Kit stocks brands such as Rockwell, The Quiet Life, as well as custom shoes including Street Kit x Adidas Originals. They stock everything from designer toys to books, magazines and zines! It's a brilliant store so make sure you check it out! Show some love and go and like their Facebook page here.

Okay, so whilst I do have a thing for Roshes, the Cortez are an absolutely timeless and iconic silhouette.

Florals seem to be everywhere right now, especially with the launch of the Liberty of London options on Nike iD for the first time ever.

It seems like Nike are just working their way down their list and checking off models one by one! They have been re-releasing rejuvinated and colourful versions off all their classic sillouhetes in the run up to summer. First the Nike Air EM "Beaches of Rio" pack, and now these!

With a smooth nylon body in boystrous colours and a relativity different take on the "floral" prints we are so used to seeing at the moment, they are on to a winner. All 4 colourways of the Cortez will be releasing at atmos next week, but no information yet as to whether these beauties are going to be availible for the small feet crew! I have my fingers crossed, I need a pair of these for sure! The black and the blue are my two favourite colourways, the red is tempting, but too similliar to my Liberty Cortez from 2012.
What are your thoughts?

So you all saw how excited I was when the Roshe Runs became available on Nike iD, well today has been another one of those days!

With the release date for the 2013 Nike X Liberty of London collaboration fast approaching, Nike has well and truly thrown a spanner in the works!

Nike X Liberty collaborations have always been a huge success and I have always been a fan. With the option now to iD 4 of the most popular Nike silhouettes, this is the start of something special! Liberty of London have been famous for their floral prints since 1875 and for the first time ever, we'll be able to wear two of their most favourite prints, Pepper and Caple, on our feet!

With a full run of men's and women's sizes, the only downside I can see to all of this is the price tag. With the Air Max 1's retailing at £145 it's a £30 increase to our usual price tag - but is it worth it? I could justify it...

I love florals, but I always feel they are way too girly for me. I've had a play around and made two combinations on the Air Max 1 silhouette that I think are just right.

What do you think? Have a mess around yourself and post them up on the Talk Casuals Facebook page or #TalkCausals on Instagram and Twitter. I want to see your iD creations!

Patta released their Summer 13 Lookbook yesterday and I was absolutely pazzing over some of the pieces! Here are a few of my favourites from the new collection:

Images from patta.nl

...so pretty much the whole collection then haha! Have a look at the full Lookbook here. I'm gonna be picking up the Nails Tee and then allover script vest. I am also most definitely going to be picking up the Coach Jacket, I won't make the same mistake again. I slept on the Burgundy Coach Jacket from Patta's Summer 2012 collection when it released and I searched ever since.  I only just tracked one down in my size this January.

This is an awesome drop, plenty of sick pieces to pick up so don't sleep!

Selected items from the collection are now available online at Patta and also in store. They will also be available at official Patta retailers shortly!

Excited for the second instalment of the collection because that Coach Jacket will be mine!

Halvø Shores are a British menswear brand who have heavy influence from Scandinavian streetwear. In their own words Halvø Shores are  "Combining the aesthetics of nature, minimalism and quality materials. Our garments incorporate classic heritage style and the inspiration of Scandinavian design."

After a very successful release of their "The Winter Projects" collection which dropped on 12.12.12, their "The Coast Line" collection looks to be just as clean and on trend as their first, consisting of 4 speckled tees.

With pieces in the newest collection featuring colourful speckles, to represent the colours of the coast, similar to those seen in the Norse Project AW drop in 2012, its detailing is inconspicuous yet screams high quality and character. Their minimalistic stance really works; despite its subtle and delicate detailing, it still draws attention. It's a fresh take on your basic tee, and so I most definitely won't sleep on this like I did with the last drop!

Halvø Shores have had a very impressive start and it doesn't look like they're slowing up anytime soon. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what's next for Halvø Shores and what other treats they're going to be releasing for us!

The tees drop this week for £30 at the official Halvø Shores website. You can keep up to date with the brand as it continues to develop through their Facebook page and Instagram @HalvoShores.

You may remember my post back in March introducing you to the Valley of Neptune store.

Today I came home to my beautiful Vasanti Agate Slice Ring in a gorgeous green colour for an amazing £8.50! Agate is an excellent stone for rebalancing and harmonising body, mind and spirit. It cleanses and stabilises the aura, eliminating and transforming negativity. Agate enhances mental function, improving, perception and analytical abilities. It soothes and calms, healing inner anger or tension and creates a sense of security and safety. This is the perfect stone for me, especially in the run up to exams!

I have been very lucky because my ring has hints if purple in too, such pretty colouring! I got the best of both worlds! This style ring has now sold out, but don't worry there are other pretty pieces still available from her store

Daisy also popped in a cute little elephant shaped treat, the Misty Elephant Mood Ring, which I absolutely adored when I saw it on her site! These are still available, so don't miss out!

So happy with my rings! I will definitely be treating myself to a few more pieces after my exams!  Follow @Valley_of_neptune on Instagram to see new pieces being added to the store!

These Roshe Runs 'Metric' are absolutely mental! When I first saw the pictures I was in two minds about them, if I'm really honest... I just didn't get it? But, saying that, they have really grown on me and actually, I think Nike have been real clever with this release.

Everyone knows by now that the Roshe Run have been, and continue to be, the up and coming shoe in the trainer world. With Nike releasing and teasing us with all these speckled and suede colourways, then giving us free reign to tailor the Roshes to our own tastes with iD, they're everywhere! But just when you think the hype is on it's way out, comes the arrival of the Metrics.

The reason I think that Nike have been clever with this release is for that exact reason. They made a shoe that everyone wants, and also that everyone can get. I probably wave the biggest flag for the Roshes, for both comfort and looks. But, no one want's to be a carbon copy of the person standing next to them. Everyone nowadays, including myself, wants to make sure they're that one person who's that little bit different from the rest of the crowd. So even with the chance to iD, you're restricted with colours and there is no doubt someone will eventually create a similar colourway to you, so then we're all back to square 1!

This new release for me just oozes that anti-conformity mentality, that one rebel that just didn't want to be an 'ordinary' Roshe Run!! Going that little bit further, to be that little bit different.

Nike are definitely stepping up their game, I am loving this sick mosaic style/geometric twist. They themselves have gone that little bit further, and continue to push boundaries with inventive new textures to put on, what in my eyes is, the perfect canvas.

I really do like these, and the more I think about them and the more I'm looking at the pictures I want a pair! The ladies truly are getting spoilt at the moment!

You can pick up in store and online now from Patta and they will be releasing at Nike and other dealers this Saturday, 4th May (same day as the Grape Vs mind!)
