THFKDLF aren't a new name to Talk Casuals. The brand featured in our first Talk Brands collective back last summer. THFKDLF are back with their new Lookbook showcasing their 'Fields Capsule' Collection.

The lookbook was shot by THFKDLF themselves in Long Beach, California. The capsule collection is inspired by the brands love of both sport and american culture. Their two passions were combined to create a small capsule of items that are featured in this Lookbook. Compromising of 2 'Home' and 'Away' jerseys, a sports vest, training tracksuit, gym socks and kit bag.

Despite the heavy american influence all the items have been crafted by hand in the brands studio, based in Shropshire, UK. The products have been made using a lightweight mesh material to make the items as breathable as possible, perfect for any sporting activity. This collection is really on point with the american sportswear trend that we have seen a lot of this summer and I'm especially into the monochrome jersey.

The collection releases tomorrow, Sunday 31st August at 12pm!

This silhouette has fast become one of my favourite trainers, a timeless classic that ticks all the boxes!

Following the initial SS14 PUMA States re-issue earlier this year, this summer pack pays careful attention to detail, mixing the classic States make-up with subtle, modernised differences. Featuring a soft, rich, tonal suede upper with stylish gold foil branding the "Summer Cooler" pack offers a more premium execution to the shoe. The simplicity of the 'Atlantis Green' and 'Prism Violet' tonal shades with the off-white sole unit keep this shoe looking effortlessly clean and fresh.

The Summer Cooler Pack will be available in-store from 30th August 2014 at Size?, Offspring and END Clothing at £65.00. Running in sizes UK3 - UK12, no one is being left out on this release! Make sure you pick up a pair whilst you can!

If you’ve popped into your local high street clothing store recently, you’re likely to see a Motocross inspired line up straight from the catwalks of Marc Jacobs and inspiring  the Jeremy Scott for Adidas collection.

Jeremy Scott for Adidas                           Marc by Marc Jacobs

The leather biker chick look continues but mixed in with sports luxe to create a unique look with slogan tops, bodycon dresses and leather backpacks to finish off your outfit.

Alpinestars have recognised this trend and launched their AW14 collection to tap into this trend but bring real credibility with over half a century of true motorsports heritage and now taking it to the masses with a mainstream range – even better this is all at a more affordable price compared to a brand like KTZ who also tap into this trend.

Formed in the 60s, Alpinestars was started in Italy by Sante Mazzarolo who designed a new type of footwear to meet the needs of motorcross, which was a growing sport and a rich heritage in motorsports was born.

Utilising designs more familiar with their technical wear, this includes airmesh material more commonly seen as providing the ultimate in performance and comfort while riding your bike but now as the detail on their streetwear offering.   From 1963 to present day, Alpinestars legacy within motorsports can be seen in every garment they make from technical race clothing through to their current streetwear offering.

We are continuing to grow our team over at Talk Casuals and after a great write up on the recent Crepe City 11 event, it only seemed fitting that we got Sophie fully on-board.
We thought, we would allow you to get to know her better by asking a few questions on her sense of style and love of trainers - also be sure to check out her instagram account over @chickinkicks92

Tell us a little about you...
My name is Sophie or Butch (because of my surname!), I'm 22 years old and live just outside of London. I'm currently working in Topshop and have been for the past 6 years.

When did you start getting into trainers and streetwear?
I've never really been the type of girl who loves dresses and heels, as growing up I've always worn sneakers and street wear - you'll rarely see me all dressed up ladylike! My mum and sister have always put me in sneakers since I was a baby, even if they were 10 sizes too big!!

Whats your favourite trainer of all time?
Oh that's a hard one, it would probably have to be the Jordan 3 'True blue' my grail - I finally got a pair last year from PRM store after searching endlessly for my size at a good price.

As we starting preparing for our holidays away in the sun, now is the time to update your summer wardrobe. If you like to pick up endless new clothes to look your best on the beach or by the pool, there is no better place to start then with the swimwear collection from NICCE London.

If you are not familiar with the brand, they are fairly new starting up in East London in 2013 but have quickly become the go-to label for people who want bold, clean and simple designs in black & white featuring their NICCE logo.

Founded by a designer with a love of fashion and music, has meant an influence taken from the main club scenes across Europe and has been adopted by the current crop of artists topping the music chart – you might have already seen Ella Eyre wearing the brand. The women’s SS14 collection is a collaboration with Anabel Englund a lady making a name for herself on the deep house/electronic dance music scene – that music heritage is never far away from the ethos of this brand.

With my week away in the sun not too far away, I will certainly be looking to rep this brand on the beaches of Ibiza!

You'll remember back at the beginning of the year I told you that 2014 was going to be the year for Puma, and I'm 100% sticking by that.

Tomorrow see's the release of the second instalment of the Size? x PUMA collaboration titled 'Wilderness' Pack. Embodying the harsh terrain environments of the Jungle through to the Mountains, this comprises of the Blaze of Glory and the Disc Blaze; currently two of the most sought after silhouettes from PUMA.
