Critics Clothing, founded by Creative Director Samanah Duran, have just released their their new AW14 collection. The collection plays host to a selective palette, but who can argue with monochrome?! Featuring inspiration from catwalk trends with a mixture of textures, including my favourites - leather, and mesh, Critics Clothing have created monochrome designs that fit perfectly with London’s street style movement.

The collections main inspiration was derived from Samanah’s travels to the West Coast of America and her discovery of Mayan art. The Quetzal feathered crown, once worn by Mayan kings features as the brands logo and celebrates strength and power- characteristics that mirror the designer’s strong personality and enhance the brand’s image. You can definitely see how this brand is developing and maturing from previous seasons.

This season’s highlights, and my favourite pieces, include bodysuits and cropped tees for us ladies. But I'm always partial to a good graphic tee and this collection doesn't let me down! With a combination of bold prints and intricate designs, I definitely think this release is a big one, ticking all the right boxes for AW trends!

Check out some more pictures below and head over to Critics Clothing to pick up some of the collection!

Fast becoming one of my favourites, the PUMA  Blaze of Glory is back again with an upgrade! For AW14, the Tech Edition Blaze of Glory shows us the epitome of merging sport and style. Playing host to premium materials, laser cute perforations and performance soles, this could very well be my favourite colourway yet.

The 'Tech Edition' stays true to its roots, whilst enhancing the sleek and distinctive aestetic we can always rely on with the Blaze of Glory.

Autumn is definitely here come September 27th, and we're prepared whatever the weather. The 'Tech Edition' will see the Blaze of Glory take on a rugged leather construction, executed in a subtle black colourway and a clean Copen blue option.

Both colourways will be available online and in-store at Size?, End Clothing, Footpatrol and Hanon Shop.  Releasing in sizes UK4 - UK12, everyone gets a look in on this one! I'll definitely be picking up a pair, the question is - which one?!

Check out some more imagery below for an up-close look at the pack. Which colour is your favourite?

Daisy Knights is a british jewellery designer who is is launching a brand new collection which will provide a little decorative detail for your footwear!

The Lace Dimes range features Daisy’s signature feather and skull designs re-invigorated as street wear embellishment. The five gold vermeil styles sit either into the lace eyelets or on the base of the tongue, to suit a variety of trainers. This is a brilliant concept to make your trainers a little more, and can definitely reinvent a simple pair of Vans into a real a head turner!

For the braver of us, Daisy offers the Big Feather and Lotus clips whilst the smaller designs include the Small Feather set, Triple Skull and Skull set with cubic zirconia eyes.

Daisy said, “As a designer and a big trainer fan - I wear my Vans to death - I’m always thinking of ways to personalise them and think the Lace Dimes are a great way to subtly embellish your footwear. It’s been great to have Vans support the range by working together to showcase them to their full potential - they look awesome against a classic sneaker.”

The Lace Dimes collection was debuted at LFW and will run alongside the Daisy Knights Core collection of updated best sellers. The collection will be launching in stores pre-Christmas, so make sure you're following Daisy Knights on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date!

We definitely want to get our hands (or feet rather!) on these! What do you think?

On Wednesday 10th September I was invited to the Milestone Hotel Kensington for the Flossy Style AW14 Blogger event. This was one of the nicest blogger events I've been to in a while and I had such a great time checking out the product and meeting the other girls! Greeted with a glass of Prosecco on arrival and the most delicious canapés, I was in my element!

Now, most of you reading are probably well aware that my feet are never usually out of trainers so I'll be honest, I was skeptical about the Flossy Style shoes, but never have I underestimated the comfort and look of a shoe so much in my life! I should probably eat my own hat! Gifted with the Girona Black Monochrome Dot Plimsoll from Flossy's new Monochrome range, once they were on, I genuinely didn't want to take them off my feet.

Quality and comfort was second to none and the strawberry smell was also a pleasant surprise! I hate having uncomfortable shoes on, probably the reason I never buy anything other than trainers, but thanks to Flossy Style and Canoe Inc I now own my perfect non-trainer shoe! I'd recommend these to any girl (or guy!) that wants something a little more dressy but still as just as comfy as your everyday trainer! Check out just a few pictures from the event below and make sure you follow @flossy_style on Twitter!

PUMA continues to celebrate its iconic running archive through a series of exceptional reissues. The releases we're seeing in AW14 just keeps getting better. On the 20th September, we saw the return of one of PUMA’s most sought after archive styles, the XR1 OG, as a 1:1 re-issue.

The XR1, a lightweight racing shoe, was first released in 1990 and made for the track. Originally introduced as a running shoe, the XR1 OG’s striking aesthetic soon saw it develop a cult following away from the track - and you can see why!

Featuring a mesh and synthetic upper, this re-issue is not only impressive but admirably accurate, unlike what we've seen from re-issues by other brands recently.

With translucent form stripes and decorative paint splatter effect on the upper, PUMA’s CREAM project continues to deliver contemporary updates to the brands extensive archive and the XR1 OG is no exception. With that, I'm definitely a real fan of this XR1 OG reissue.

The PUMA XR1 OG is now available in-store and online at Footpatrol, Hanon Shop & End Clothing.

Dark Circle Clothing have teamed up with British Model Rebecca Fox, to bring a unique 3 part capsule collection of items on sale between September 2014 and January 2015.

Each capsule will contain different products which have been developed and designed by Rebecca and the Dark Circle team.

The first capsule is set to release in early September consisting of two t-shirts and a hoodie.

We can expect the second capsule to drop in late October / early November. This drop will consist of a t-shirt and British made skateboard deck in partnership with Projekt21 Skate store and A Third Foot skateboards, both based in Birmingham.

If that wasn't enough, with the third release drops a Limited Edition Dark X Rebecca Fox calendar and a surprise accessories pack.

The Lookbook for this collection is on point for this release and I really can't wait to get my hands on that DARK shirt either. Check out more images below and keep an eye on the Dark Circle Twitter.

This Saturday 6th September hosts the 5th edition of Sneaks & Peaks lifestyle festival at Boxxed, Birmingham. As always the Sneaks & Peaks team put on an event featuring a wealth of entertainment; from Birmingham's hottest DJ's, street art and graffiti, a host of street food vendors, drink, good vibes and of course wall to wall kicks and clothes.

This time they've gone bigger and better though, holding nothing back this event will have a retro gaming zone Dead Pixels, a Cubanisto lounge area where you can chill after sifting through the goodies at the BBC and Ice Cream Sample Sale. As always though, Sneaks & Peaks are promising to bring the rarest of kicks, sneaker solutions and sneaker art alongside the most current independent fashion labels they could find.

Some of the traders already confirmed for the event include Dark Cirle, Projekt21, Ropes Laces, Wellgosh, Sneeky Fox Apparel, AOK and Mr Huarache.

As well as this, Sneaks & Peaks have teamed up with Help Harry Help Others. All you have to do is bring you're old kicks, shoes boots or even flip flops to donate at the event! 35p goes to 'Footsteps 4 Harry' and the shoes get given to the less fortunate. This is a great idea, so big up the boys for including something like this at their event.

Entry is £3 on the door but pick up advance tickets here whilst you still can!

Who's there?

So, I get that you're gutted summer is over and the cold, wet weather is beginning to roll in, but AW14 is absolutely spoiling us already and this collection has categorically killed it.

Hitting selected international Carhartt WIP stores and retailers tomorrow, 4th September, the Carhartt WIP X Neighborhood collection incorporates styles from both brands to create one of the freshest collaborations 2014 has seen yet!

The infamous PUMA Trinomic XT2+ silhouette gets a truly unique print execution for Autumn 2014. Introducing, The 'Snow Splatter' Pack...

Images by Crepe City

The print is a unique mixture of the splatter design that was only ever used on the heel counter of the recently re-issued Trinomic XS850. The 'Snow Splatter' pack comes in two colour ways: the first is black with a bold fluorescent yellow splatter as well a classic all-black stealth option which features 3M splatter print - perfect for those winter evenings.

I'm a big fan of the all black and sneaky 3M print! This is a real winter colourway and once again I am extremely frustrated with my tiny feet! Saying that, I am a real sucker for a splatter print in any colour! The fluorescent yellow will definitely keep the reminder of summer once the evenings start getting dark and gloomy as winter rolls in!

The pack will be available in-store this Saturday, on 6th September 2014 at Hanon, End Clothing & Footpatrol for only £75!

Check out some more images of the pack below...
