We have finally started to see some sun and warmth and last weekend I had my first 99 Flake this year! According to my radar, that means summer is well and truly on it's way, but it’s definitely been a long, cold snowy wait. I'm putting my Astoria boots and Siberian Parka coat to the back of my wardrobe and getting use of my shorts and dresses once again! The upcoming Saucony Originals G9 "Scoops" pack is inspired by these warmer temperatures we've been yearning for and some of our favourite  ice cream flavours. These are an essential summer sneaker!

The Saucony Originals G9 “Scoops” pack is available in two silhouettes of Saucony’s most celebrated heritage styles: the G9 Shadow 5 and G9 Shadow 6. The silhouettes pair the sole unit of Saucony’s Grid 9000 with uppers from the Shadow 5000 and 6000. This beautiful hybrid experiment was first unveiled in 2012 with Sauconcy's collaboration with Boston based boutique Bodega.

The first of the two to release, is the he G9 Shadow 6. Featuring buttery suede and mouthwatering mint and dark chocolate chip colors that base the shoe. As a subtle finishing detail, the midsole has been sprinkled with dark chocolate chip speckles, and wrapped up with that ever tasty gum rubber outsole. This colourway fully melts my heart! The G9 Shadow 6 Mint Chocolate Chip will be available from tomorrow, May 1st  online in very limited quantities. Other retailers include Well Gosh, Size? and Footpatrol

The other half of this pack, the G9 Shadow 5 Vanilla Strawberry, will be available online on May 15th! Keep an eye on the Saucony Originals Facebook page and ours for updates!

For SS15 two of the biggest names in the game, Topshop and Adidas Originals, have joined forces for the second time to create a capsule collection that fuses street style with rich sport heritage. After the success of their first collaboration, there is no doubt this one will be just as big!

Featuring a colour scheme inspired by 1980s hip-hop iconography, Topshop designers have reengineered seven of Adidas Originals most iconic pieces, including the Superstar sneaker and side-striped trackpants. The iconic shell toes get an update in cracked silver with oversized tabs! Topshop have added their feminine design aesthetic for the ultimate tomboy and unisex chic result. The capsule collection also includes a rework of the Superstar jacket, oversize logo t-shirt and shorts.

Our love of fashion and sportswear comes to life in this capsule collection. Sportstyle classics with bold graphic numbers are the superstar looks this season.” – Kate Phelan,  Creative Director, TOPSHOP

The collection launches today, Thursday 30th April online and in store! What are your thoughts? Check out some of the pieces below...

Since the brand’s creation in 2013, Nicce has quickly made a name for itself by delivering a clean, honest approach to contemporary streetwear. They're a brand I've really kept my eye on, and it's nice seeing a brand who has consistency between seasons but also have that something that makes their collections instantly recognisable.

With that in mind, their SS15 collection does not disappoint! Drawing inspiration from London’s ever-changing culture and music scene, the collection features clean new outerwear, three tracksuits – two loopback sets and a new stripe peached soft sateen tracksuit –  a kagoule, and an absolutely boss bomber! There’s also darker print pieces, cut-and-sew panel sets and mixed-fabric garments, keeping that urban vibe throughout.

Nicce's SS15 collection remains as wonderfully subdued and subtly memorable as ever: functional clothing pushing forward in contemporary new directions.

This brand continues to impress me, with both their womens and menswear products. Make sure you keep up to date with this brand, and as always - I'm excited to see whats next! Check out some more imagery of the collection below.

Bags are usually the first thing on my mind when I have an event to go to. I need something durable, something which has the space to hold all my essentials, and of course, it has to look good! Well the Converse Tropic Florals has all these things.

Converse release their Tropic Floral Collection to see us through Summer with the freshest and most tropical print featured on some of their classic silhouettes! Available is the D Pack 2 Commuter, Mini Back Pack, Standard Duffel and Bum/Sling bag. Offering unparalleled durability, capacity and style, the Converse Tropic Floral collection offers padded interior organisers, storm flap zips and adjustable shoulder straps. The combination of colours and prints that cloak the pieces in this collection set the tone of summer perfectly. Of course, all have been finished off with the signature and iconic Chuck Taylor logo.

BATOKO are a ladies online store founded back in 2012. I came across BATOKO through their instagram page when my Cacti obsession hit an all time low, as I found myself scrolling through the #cactus hashtag...(Sorry, not sorry!)

Anyways, to my delight I found BATOKO. They preach across their social media platforms that they create and sell "cool" clothes, and I definitely can't argue with that! My absolute favourites of all their little creations, are their swimsuits. I've already ordered myself the Cactus swimsuit, obviously, and I cannot wait to wear this on my holiday! It's so great finding a fun and playful brand that are doing something a little different with their products. Doubling up as a bodysuit, these are perfect on and offshore, taking you from the beach straight to the bar!

Swimwear shopping for holiday is always so tricky for me, I'm beyond fussy! Plus when my mum used to say, "lets get you a swimsuit", I honestly used to cringe at the thought of it - swimsuits aren't cute or sexy! Well, how wrong was I? The one piece is in, and not going anywhere anytime soon...

Check out more of their swimsuit options below, and keep up to date with all their new products through their Facebook and Twitter! Shop the collection here.

As the number one motorsports apparel brand in the world, Alpinestars remain grounded to their roots, designing clothing for authentic sportsmen and fans alike; ensuring they look great on and off the track.

Showcasing their SS15 line, the brands latest lookbook demonstrates their tight association with the global streetwear scene that surrounds motorsports, and they shot the collection true to that aesthetic. This trend and scene is creeping more and more into the mainstream and highstreet fashion world, with traits featured in shop windows of brands who have no ties to the sports world, but none of these can complete with the authenticity of this brand.

Alpinestars SS15 collection features heritage motorsports imagery printed on cotton tee-shirts, embroidered snapback caps, lightweight bomber jackets and bike ready denim. The collection is available online now. What are your thoughts?

Following the success of Walala's collaboration with Cat Footwear that launched in TOPSHOP late last year, the East London based French artist is back this summer with another exciting collection featuring 5 bold prints.

Looking at the SS15 collection, Walala clearly didn't hold back as she has created elaborate vibrant patterns on CAT's classic Colorado shape and new range that are being introduced this summer including the Restless Walala, Ridge Walala, and the Roll Down Walala. I am absoloutely, head over heels OBSESSED with this collaboration. As well as slipping my feet into a pair of kicks, I have a soft spot for a good chunky boot and like with all my fashion favourites, its those masculine items with feminine touches that get my vote. What epitomises that more than these?

The Colorado boot is an all purpose boot and Walala's rework on it's rigid construction takes this classic into a different direction. My favourite of the collection is the Ridge Walala. Those of you who are regulars to the blog know my love for all monochrome everything!

Camille Walala is a purveyor of powerfully positive digital print. A graduate in Textile Design from the University of Brighton, her namesake brand was established in East London in 2009, where she continues to live. Recent work has seen her progressing from her popular textile based range to include Art Direction, Interior Design and a continued love affair with pop up restaurants, where her love for food and design are brought to life. Her signature Tribal POP style present a boundless energy that work perfectly for show-stopping and social spaces - “the bigger the better”.

As a brand that truly believe in progression, CAT continue to stomp their way into fashion and evolve with the trend. The SS15 womens' collection is a testament to CAT's commitment to keep pushing forward, and I am so excited to see what's next!

I'm actually so excited about this latest news from PUMA! Venturing further into the lifestyle market, they're continuing to impress me. Recently someone made the comment that PUMA get lost amongst other footwear brands, and I couldn't disagree more.

Further advancing their technology and adding to their archives, I'm proud to introduce to you the PUMA IGNITE, the brands most energised sneaker created for an active, stylish lifestyle. Featuring innovative foam technology, the IGNITE maximises energy return to keep you on your feet for longer periods of time. Designed for a wide range of people from runners to sneaker aficionados, the Ignite is the perfect example of the performance and lifestyle gap becoming ever smaller.

The colourways include an easy to wear black and grey version as well as a bolder red and black option, which serves as a nod to the classic bright running colourways we know so well. Both teamed with white crisp white soles, these lay the foundation and mark a turning point in PUMA’s history where lifestyle and performance collide.

Powering every stride is IGNITE foam, proprietary foam that provides responsive cushioning, optimal rebound and comfort. Strategically placed in the heel of the shoe is ForEverFoam—a compound used heavily in the automotive industry. This material creates long-lasting durability and is entirely new to the market. The end result is tech with style to spare. The IGNITE is set to expand further this year with various colours and more lifestyle versions due for release in coming months.

The PUMA IGNITE will be available at the end of April at Footpatrol, Hanon, End and Well Gosh, retailing at £85. Check out some more images below!

Supply & Demand clothing are a street fashion brand exploding out of the UK, firmly rooted in the thriving urban music scene and with a distinctively grimey edge. Supply and Demand clothing are quickly becoming a high street contender with their selection of progressive graphic t-shirts, crewnecks and joggers with a recognisable streetwear influenced fit.

With a predominantly black and white SS15 collection, it's definitely the clean garments that have got my attention. This monochrome look below is now available exclusively at JD Sports, great for comfort whilst still maintaining that cool edge. Plus bucket hats, you can't go wrong with that!

Breaks Mag are back with their first event of the year tonight, and rather than a chin-stoking gallery show or some launch in a carefully curated store, they've decided to do what they do best and throw a big summer party on the terrace of Boxpark, in the sun, on Thursday night!

They're totally jacking-in anything remotely serious and have got a bunch of stupid inflatables, some great DJs and a load of drinks from Heineken and Havana Club and focused on having a totally great time. It is the official start of summer after all. There's no need to RSVP! Just head down from 6pm and have a great time!

PUMA splashes into Summer with the eye catching R698 'Splatter Pack'.

Created in lightweight materials relative to the era of origin, the highly favoured R698 is true to its original form and comes complete with a chunky midsole sat upon the ever-comfortable Trinomic cushioning, suede and mesh paneling, front laces and branded heel and tongue tab.

Following on from the R698 'Snow Splatter' Pack, released in the depth of winter last year, this seasons Splatter Pack is the perfect transition for the coming Summer months and is due for release in three eye catching colourways. Extra details include distinctive speckled heels with contrasting colour pop fade outs. Stunning summer vibes from this pack! PUMA are fully embracing and epitomising everything summer in these colourways!

ROXY is bringing Pendleton back to the beach and rekindling the roots it established with surf culture and trends in the 50’s —when surfers would ride in Pendleton’s cozy wool shirts over a layer of vaseline to keep warm on the water!

As a legendary American wool mill, Pendleton puts the cozy in casual and the fuzzy in fashion. And for this collaborative apparel line, they’ve paired their 100% wool featuring signature vivid colours and intricate patterns of Native American fabrics, with trend-setting design to create a new wave in fashion.

This is a great collaboration in my eyes, the perfect pairing! I've always admired ROXY as a brand. Born in 1990 when Quicksilver decided to create a women's line, it originally started in the water as a surf brand, but soon after came it's sportswear line. In the years to come it further expanded and became the most authentic womenswear line offered by a surf brand, featuring snow wear and fashion favourites! ROXY has always been a brand that have stuck to their roots, offering fit and flexibility while still managing to be feminine. They've also definitely fulfilled their aim to be "Fun, Bold, Athletic, Daring and Classy".

Pendleton have always, again, been a brand I have followed and can really appreciate for their authenticity and quality products. I will forever lust over their Native American bed blankets! Bringing this style and incorporating the heritage of both brands together is nostalgic! If you don't get that feeling reading about this collaboration, check out the lifestyle imagery below that presents the collection in the environment it was created for!

If I haven't made my feeling clear enough, I love this collaboration, it brings a high level of fun, durable apparel that is poised to stand the test of time. The entire collection has made it to my holiday wishlist for this summer! You can shop the collection here.

The adored Nike collaboration with Liberty of London is back for SS15, but it's a little different this time around!

The SS15 collection features a unique new print from their extensive archives! The "Merlin" print, originally produced back in 1972 by Liberty for a silk scarf, sees its way cloaking 6 Nike silhouettes!

The element of this pack that got me so excited, was the news that is will see the relaunch of the Air Rift, which was first released in 1996 to give the feel of barefoot running. The style itself was inspired by the Great Rift Valley in Kenya, which has since influenced the theme of this whole collection. The Air Rift has always fallen under the radar for me and my trainer collection - it's never really been a go-to when I'm looking for a new pair but after being given the Liberty touch, these are definitely a must have! Perfect for this warmer weather we're starting to see her in the UK, the start of summer really will be here when I have a pair of these on my feet!

Continuing a long line of exciting events, this Thursday, on 23rd April 2015 House of Vans will play host to the album launch of the second solo album by DRS - Mid Mic Crisis. The Manchester living, world travelling artist gives us his most complete work to date; a canvas painted vividly with all his experiences collected up to the present date.

To mark the event, DRS will be performing tracks from Mid Mic Crisis live on the night and will be joined by a few extra special guests.

Throughout the entire process of creating Mid Mic Crisis DRS has been accompanied by Chelone Wolf - a critically acclaimed photographer who’s portfolio of work has documented the underground music scene. The gallery at House of Vans will display a visual journey that DRS went through as he wrote, recorded and performed Mid Mic Crisis.

This month we see the final instalment of the Black and White Pack. The classic XT2 silhouette has been given a slick makeover to complete Puma's latest SS15 Trinomic collection.

Back in the 1990s, running shoes weren’t afraid to show off their goods. PUMA added to the visual technology boom with Trinomic: clear rubber cells that collapsed and rebounded for cushioning, stability, motion control and double-takes. Trinomic’s first superstar was the PUMA XT family. The Trinomic XT-2 is an exact replica of the '90s original. This authentic style transforms an icon into a legend.

The XT2 has been given a slick black and white makeover to complete the recently released Black and White Pack, also featuring the R698 and Disc Blaze. With contrasting gum soles, these XT2’s are simple in all the right ways. Available now at Footasylum (£75), these are 100% a trainer for the summer!

What started out as Lee Kobayashi’s play and perception on neo Tokyo culture has now become a worldwide underground movement.

From late 2013, Kobayashi worked throughout Europe working short small pop up events in small towns and sharing his vision with locals and potential business personalities. Upon arrival to the United Kingdom, Kobayashi banded together with a team of like minded passionate individuals to set out and expand his vision and create something innovative, powerful and nostalgic, and has achieved just that.

Wet Store Japan has released a SS15 collection consisting of 8 hand screen printed pieces. These have been exhibited impeccably in a gritty urban lookbook, I love it!

On Saturday 18th April 2015, the world celebrated Record Store Day, a day that pays homage to independent record stores, their unique culture and the continued production of the vinyl music format.

Following its birth in the USA in 2007, the UK followed suit and commemorated Record Store Day for the 8th time running this year, taking place in Soho, where record labels big and small produced limited edition products for one day only!

Mixing it up this year is Sports giant PUMA who teamed with Soho based, globally renowned sneaker boutique, Footpatrol to celebrate the day through the eyes of London underground record label, Trax Couture. The collaborative project took place in the Footpatrol store where you were able to purchase a limited edition, customised PUMA Trax Patrol sneaker, made especially for Record Store Day.

Receiving the custom treatment is the PUMA R698 model, with a ‘PUMA Trax Patrol’ tongue label, additional black/reflective rope lace, aqua speckled midsole and 3D printed USB lace jewel. For a premium finish, the R698 was presented in a bespoke, matte black box featuring a silk screened project logo. Additionally, a limited edition 12” vinyl by record label head and producer Rushmore was also sold on the day alongside the R698's. The 4x track EP with only 50 copies produced worldwide, finish off the collaborative project for RSD perfectly.

So if you saw my Saucony Courageous Premium Pack post, then you'll know I'm a fan of the Saucony silhouettes, colourways and their comfort technology. You'll also have noticed my disappointment when mentioning that they only dropped in UK6-UK12. Seems to always the way right? Wrong!

Saucony Originals have unleashed some brand new colourways of their iconic Jazz Original and DXN silhouettes exclusively to ASOS and yes, they're exclusively women's!

The Jazz Original was first designed in 1981 and is still one of the most iconic profiles within Saucony’s back catalogue! Its one of the most popular silhouettes to be reworked and collaborated on each season and it never loses its effortless cool. The DXN on the other hand is a profile that was first introduced in the 80’s after running legend Rob Dixon worked very closely with the Saucony engineering team to create the perfect running shoe for his races.

I'm confident enough to say I really think there is something here for everyone! Whether you enjoy making a real statement with your footwear of if you like to keep it cool and casual, there definitely is a colourway for you! Check out some more images of the options available below and #TalkCasuals to show us what pair you go for! Shop the collection here.
