PUFFA SS15

PUFFA, a brand who are so undeniably British that they're in the Oxford English Dictionary!

By definition, they are the originators of the iconic padded jacket – a must have fashion piece for over 40-years, no imitation even comes close. I love PUFFA jackets, and even more so because the brand has such a rich heritage.

Puffa, have released their very first Spring/Summer collection, inspired by their heritage in the air, land and sea. They’ve partnered with the inspiring New Explorers – a team of pioneering designers whose work is similarly influenced by these themes – to showcase the exciting collection.

Pop colours and retro logos are combined with statement rain macs, cagoules and metallic microlight downs in this game-changing collection. T-shirts and sweats are also introduced, resulting in an incredibly versatile and eclectic range.

One of favourites from the women's range is actually the INTERLAGOS; an old-school opaque rain mac emblazoned with the statement Puffa bubble logo in Barbie pink, bright yellow and classic navy. Even though we're well into spring now with temperatures rising and cloudless skies blessing us over the last couple of weeks, the UK weather is still unpredictable, so having one of these to hand will be a great way to remain stylish if caught out in a Spring downpour! This is definitely your summer festival essential!

My absolute favourite of this whole collection though, is the OSBORNE! I'm obsessed with bomber jackets, they're my go-to jacket for all seasons, but this is not your standard bomber jacket! The Osborn lightweight down filled jacket has removable sleeves and a metallic yarn finish. With Puffa's trademark square quilting, elasticated hem and cuffs, exposed metal zips surrounded by a tonal cotton taping detail and leather pullers, this is a highly detailed, yet functional piece available in a charcoal or brown...I am obsessed!

If this is what Puffa can produce for their debut S/S collection, I am more than excited to see what we're in store for in the future! What are your thoughts?
