PUMA PRESENTS ALIFE SESSIONS IN LONDON / PUMA X ALIFE DROP 2

As you'll probably know, Thursday the 30th of April 2015 saw The Laundry, a quirky venue in the heart of East London, get taken over for the PUMA x Alife sessions in collaboration with size?, celebrating the second offering from one of the most talked about collaborations so far this year.

Alife sessions are notorious for hosting some of the biggest hip-hop artists of all time and this time round was no different. London born and bred rising stars Little Simz & Cult Mountain took to the stage first warming up the crowd with their unique sounds and performances - and yes, we're still bitter we couldn't make it there!

The headlining act came in the form of legendary New York Hip Hop duo Mobb Deep, one of the most influential east coast groups from the golden age of rap. The duo took to the stage to the roar of a packed out venue and performed classic tracks such as Survival of the Fittest and Shook ones, giving the crowd exactly what they wanted. This was the perfect way to prepare the world for the second drop of this boss collaboration.

The first SS15 drop from this immense collaboration between Puma and New York based brand ALIFE caused a storm, and the second drop is here to create an even bigger impression! The second half of the PUMA x Alife collaboration consists of both apparel and footwear, including a sick new two-piece track suit. As well as that, the collection presents  possibly my one of my favourite products ever made - matching shorts and sweater featuring a photo print of the famous Piranha tank that sits in the iconic Alife Rivington Street Club store in New York’s Lower East Side. This is 100% my favourite part of the whole collection!

Footwear includes three of my favourite PUMA Trinomic silhouettes, the R698, Blaze of Glory and Disc Blaze. Each of these have been given a unique makeover using colour references from classic Alife designs and logos which complete one of this years’ most talked about collaborations. All are now available at retail partner size? and other stores online including Kosmos Store and Chimp StoreI managed to get a great preview of some of this collection in the flesh at the most recent Crepe City event

This really is the epitome of a collaboration, and the PUMA x Alife collection promotes the everything you want from one also. I really admire PUMA as it's one of the very few brands who give the other complete free reign of their silhouettes. PUMA aid the most authentic collaborations and this is no exception. That fishtank crewneck demonstrates just that, it is everything! There have been no restrictions with this collection and it's so awesome to see the final products!

Check out some more images of the collection below. What will you be picking up?
