For those of you who know me personally, will know that underwear and matching sets are a huge personal interest of mine. Everything I post about on here are things which reflect my personal taste, but this interest is something that's not usually transferred or demonstrated through my blog, but it will be more so from now on!

I love that this 90's trend is back and it's cool to have your underwear waistband on show! Björn Borg's new Iconic Collection merges two of my favourite things - sportswear and underwear.

Björn Borg's unites its sports heritage with their contemporary urban edge. Through this collection they bring their original legacy into the present, pairing the iconic waistband with modern materials, silhouettes and functionality. The basic colours, combined with an elastic waistband inspired by their athletic past, create a clean and minimal look.

If you didn't believe me when I said before that PUMA create the best collaborations, then this post will be the one that convinces you. A good collaboration sees both brands have the freedom to bring their signature style to the table, and the final product is the perfect combination and merging of both...

PUMA have again reunited with alternative sportswear pioneers ICNY this season with another exciting release – an amalgamation of both brands’ vision, push for innovation and integration of sport into lifestyle.

ICNY was developed after founder and designer Mike Cherman was struck by a car whilst cycling. Motivated by this, ICNY was created with the aspiration to provide added safety and increased visibility by using reflective materials on key areas of sport apparel and accessories.

First, I just want to say that I am so so excited to be announcing this news on Talk Casuals! Our good friends over at Terrible Movement will be joining BOXPARK Shoreditch this October. This will be the brands first ever pop-up shop and they have a lot of surprises and exclusives in store!

Opening its doors for a week from 5th October, the brand’s first-ever retail space has plenty of surprises in store. The popup will give shoppers a chance to get up close and personal with limited runs of bestsellers from the brand’s ethical offering, as well as showcasing an exciting collaboration with a yet-to-be announced heritage fashion brand.

Speaking about Terrible Movement’s BOXPARK event, co-founder Tersha Willis said: “It’s been a long time coming for us and ever since we got back to the UK from Berlin, we’ve had our eye on BOXPARK as the next move. It’s the most relevant retail location in London right now and we couldn’t imagine a better place to launch our first retail experience.

We’re very excited to announce who we’ll be collaborating with and we plan to do so very soon. The triumvi- rate of this heritage brand, Terrible Movement and BOXPARK is perfect. We cannot wait to showcase this collaboration.

I can't wait either!! Make sure you're following these guys on their social media to keep up to date with announcements on events and collaborations in the run up to October!

KR3W Denim is proud to present the Riding Easy ‘Local Kr3w’ Collection.

For AW15, KR3W has teamed up with independent label Riding Easy Records to spread the gospel of heavy rock, psych, doom and Metal.

The small collaborative collection features their iconic logo in exclusive colour ways emblazoned on a box t-shirt, raglan and mesh trucker cap. The Raglan tee is my favourite piece of this collection, but all of it looks good!

Check out the video, Chris Gregson gives us a peek into his easy living life! See more of the collection below and at Surfdome!

On the evening of the first day of Fashion Week Stockholm, Björn Borg amazed international sports and fashion press, fashion influencers and the tributed Mars One representatives alike with a memorable fashion show based on the theme “Training for Mars”. The show featured top Swedish supermodels and its retro space inspired sportswear collection was showcased on set at a Mars like outdoor location in Stockholm.

Sports fashion brand Björn Borg presented its SS16 collection in an outdoor fashion show, under the bridge Västerbron in Stockholm. The unique space was packed with the international fashion elites, observing Swedish top-models Tilda Lindstam, Emmy Rappe, Mona Johannesson och Sara Blomqvist among others, parading the circular catwalk surrounded with bright lights beaming towards space.

The sports fashion brand dedicated its show to the Space initiative Mars One, as a tribute to its grand vision, courage and the desire to take on the ultimate challenge; training for Mars.

With what could very well be my favourite release this year, (I know, I say it a lot - but have you seen these?! PUMA just keep surpassing themselves!) PUMA continue their rich heritage of collaborating with premium retailers worldwide. The Disc Blaze "Orcinusorca" is the first collaboration with renowned Japanese retailer Monkey Time. Inspired by killer whales or orcas, the Trinomic Disc Blaze takes inspiration and excellently depicts their distinctive black and white colours - the perfect representation of this majestic whale.

The PUMA X Monkey Time Disc Blaze remains true to the original silhouette of 90’s iconic running shoes Disc Blaze, originally released as a performance running shoe and eventually made its way onto the streets as an every day trainer.

Layering different patterned perforated mesh for the upper, the monochromatic colourway represents its inspirational source of killer whales whilst reflective splatter prints on mid soles represent splashes of dynamic breaching by killer whales. Reflectors are also applied to the heel parts and formstripe which makes the silhouette really stand out.

The PUMA X Monkey Time Disc Blaze "Orcinusorca" will be available exclusively through Monkey Time in Japan and selected PUMA global lifestyle stores now. What are your thoughts - Will you be picking a pair up?

House of Junk Clothing are the latest brand on our Talk Casuals radar. After a good scroll through their collection and Instagram and then discovering I'd missed the chance to check them out in person down in Portsmouth at the Tattoo Convention, I decided to find out a bit more for myself.

The first thing that struck me about this brand is they instantly ooze character. It's not the same old collection you can sometimes see from a relatively young brand like this one. They have definitely found their feet and there making a strong mark in the scene already!

Kara and Nicki are best friends and both met working for Superdry Clothing in one of their outlet stores about 5 years ago. After their careers at Superdry, they both did some travelling, got inspired but ended up working their asses off for big corporate companies. They then decided 1 year ago to team up, break free from the main stream and follow a pursuit of happiness - an escape from the drudgery. And so, House of Junk was born.

Feldt are showcasing their AW15 film to celebrate the launch of their new collection arriving into stores! Head down and check it out this Thursday!

For the next instalment of their Rights Refused campaign, KR3W collaborates with artist and sculptor Dennis McNett for a capsule collection reminiscent of the 80’s skate and punk rock scene.

Dennis McNett was born in 1972 and grew up in Virginia Beach, VA, before moving to New York in 2001. As a kid encouragement came from his blind grandfather, who despite not seeing, unwaveringly supported his artistic talent for drawing.

Later influences came from the raw high energy imagery pouring out of the early 80’s skateboard and punk rock scene; “We got all of our information through Thrasher Magazine. The graphics, tricks and music were right there in the mag. We soaked it in like a sponge.”, says McNett. After being involved in construction for over 10 years, McNett’s artwork naturally evolved into larger projects and sculptures.

Today, Dennis McNett has carved out a vast body of work with his signature woodcut prints; from gallery walls and large-scale museum installations to skateboard decks and graphics. Based on bold 80’s board graphics, McNett has created a collection of unique designs featured on KR3W basics, paying homage to the forefathers of the underground. No gimmicks, just raw skateboarding.

The Dennis McNett x KR3W RIGHTS REFUSED collaboration for AW15, is available in select retailers worldwide. I love the video that accompanies this collaboration and the I love Dennis' story. Check that out and some more of the collection below, what are your thoughts?

Following its take on the PUMA R698 model in July, Los Angeles based streetwear label STAMP'D and PUMA continue to experiment with materials and footwear like never before, and I hope they continue to!

Located firmly at the forefront of modern youth culture, along with its timeless appeal that takes inspiration from both west and east coast cultures, STAMP'D creates high quality streetwear product mixed with simple forms.

The PUMA collaboration is one of high drive, fusing STAMP'D's unorthodox creativity alongside PUMA’s technical expertise to produce an all new silhouette, the PUMA Trinomic Sock.

The Trinomic Sock is a slick love-child hybrid consisting of the Disc Blaze upper with the Disc unit removed, creating a premium slip on which sits upon an R698 sole unit for an athletic spin that you can take from the gym to the street. The perfect combination of two of my favourite PUMA silhouettes. The upper consists of suede and buttery nubuck alongside fleece material which hugs the foot, eliminating the need for the Disc Blazes's signature set up. 3M branding also features to complete the sporty, yet premium look - ticking all the right boxes for me, releasing in Whisper White and my favourite Drizzle Black. This is such a sleek, contemporary trainer that boasts all the features of a timeless classic.

The PUMA X STAMP'D Trinomic Sock is now available from End Clothing, Footpatrol, and some of the colourways will be available at Harvey Nichols and Well Gosh for £100. Check out some more imagery below.

Converse was founded on the idea of progress, of taking what is known and making something more of it. This idea has carried the Converse brand through the last 107 years and into the present with the launch of Converse Accessories. As we head into Autumn, Converse take a toned down approach to the line, with classic and clean shapes and subtle branding on their Classic Nylon range.

Now in their ninth season, Converse Accessories continue to offer a range of bags that you can carry anywhere, wear with anything, and style any way you like. From sporty to smart casual, the Classic Nylon Collection gives you a range of hard working accessories that are functional and look great, in a heavier weight nylon for a premium feel.

Sheffield born brand, Drop Dead, have launched their new ‘Dead Weight’ gym collection online and in their London and Sheffield stores. Dead Weight is made up of a simple monochrome colour palette featuring strong branding throughout.

Drop Dead have focused on the core purposes of active wear through the use of fabrics whether it be breathable mesh or reflective prints, the fabric decisions have been made purely to cater for people when exercising rather than fashion wear.

The collection has eight pieces split into guys and girls fits. The two pre workout hoodies both feature branded reflective strips running down each arm. Drop Dead’s Perspective logo as featured throughout DDS15 reflects underneath a layer of sports mesh on the guys ‘Iron Dreams’ Hoodie. Drop Dead’s Cross logo is printed on either leg of the ‘Quad Head’ Shorts and ‘Back Packed’ Bag. The Back Pack has a large internal pocket with numerous hidden pockets ideal to fit your gym kit in.

The girls monochrome two-‐piece featuring the ‘No Cuts’ mesh high neck crop top and ‘Eleven Shorts’ have matching branded white ribbing designed to cling securely to the body when exercising.

I love this collection, its the perfect colour palette for me, I hate being in the gym in an outfit thats too bold or loud. Plus the gym bag is perfect too, definitely bith practical and stylish.

Check out some more imagery of the collection below... What are your thoughts?

Salt-Water sandals, the cult American footwear classic, have long been a style secret amongst the UK’s best dressed with Alexa Chung, Florence Welch, Sienna Miller and Fearne Cotton all seen keeping their feet cool in the iconic summer staple.

Available in the UK since 2011, the first ever-pair was created by Walter Hoy in 1940s USA. Utilising the scrap leather from his military boot manufacturing business, it was a resourceful and creative way of combating leather shortages during the Second World War. Throughout the following decades the manufacturing process of the sandal has been virtually unchanged, with the signature plaited leather upper, partway stitched onto a vulcanised rubber sole with rust resistant brass buckles and a unique sealant staying almost exactly the same as when they were first made.

For someone who doesn't look to buy sandals (I'm a lot more comfortable in trainers), I was genuinely intrigued to find out a bit more about these. They're entirely waterproof for a start! Which is perfect for beach adventures! The leather also moulds to the wearers foot the more they are worn and made wet, which means there no doubt about comfort! Now available in a huge selection of colours, including zesty orange, lime and lemon, silver and gold metallic or the classic navy, black or tan, there is a pair of Salt-Water sandals to suit every summer, every wearer, whatever the occasion. I love the metallic silver and classic navy, perfect colours to take you from day into night!

You can buy Salt-Water Sandals online from £55.

In 2027, a human settlement on Mars will be initiated with the four first volunteering astronauts. Mars One is the space project offering 100 people the chance to move to our neighbouring planet Mars. Inspired by nomads of bygone and future generations, the Björn Borg SS16 show at Fashion Week in Stockholm is a tribute to this ground-breaking space mission and to the concept of the ultimate challenge: Training for Mars.

For Björn Borg, space is the limit when the brand sets out to top last year’s celebrated show during Fashion Week in Stockholm. With the brand’s Head Designer James Lee at the helm, expectations are high as Björn Borg literally creates an out-of-this-world experience to showcase its first collection since the company redirected its business focus to sportswear.

The SS16 show is inspired by the concept of breaking new frontiers for the love of mankind. Mars One epitomises this idea and our show is a tribute to the bravery and faith these pioneers show by venturing to the unknown for the sake of evolution and innovation. The journey sets the scene for the show featuring our fashion sportswear collection that is perfectly fit for the ultimate challenge – training for Mars! says James Lee, Head of Design at Björn Borg.

PUMA continue to experiment with materials and designs like never before to create a premium yet street ready release, the Trinomic Disc 89.

Using the Trinomic R698 as a starting point, the Trinomic Disc 89 features a moulded one piece upper which resembles that of an R698, integrated with the wire based lacing system from the Disc Blaze. The smooth glossy finish across the Disc 89 completes this premium look.

Due for release in three colourways, the Trinomic Disc Blaze 89 will be available in Black, White and High Risk Red for the sneaker afitionado. I'm really impressed with these!

The PUMA Disc Blaze 89 is available now for £160 at selected retailers including End Clothing  and Footpatrol

So I first came across Jude J Taylor's blog via The Basement, the biggest online streetwear community - I do enjoy that group, there are some odd threads as with any Facebook group, but this one definitely caught my eye!

I'm also a massive hoarder, with everything and I mean I keep everything! Old cinema tickets, trainer boxes, gig tickets, clothes the lot! I actually thought I was a bit of a wierdo, and the only one who kept odd things like clothes tags and stuff but after this thread, rest assured I am not alone!

In fact, in my old place I had two small frames of stickers and tags that I'd done a similar thing with but Jude's looks far better than mine ever did! I have a plastic wallet full to the brim of them too in a drawer! I'm really into being a bit creative as well so wanted to share this with you guys maybe pass on the inspiration! Having just moved into a new flat again I'm having to do a big clear out so this will be a good way to gain some space too! I'll post up the outcome when it's finished too.

What are your thoughts on this? Read Jude's story here.

For this season, Vans have added an awesome twist to decorate their iconic Authentic sneaker. While genuine cork has been used in the fabrication of sneakers already, Vans have gone against the grain and have instead opted for a cork-patterned canvas upper for breathability, a much more durable option to keep these looking better for longer! Paired with a crisp white sole and laces, these are definitely a summer winner! They are available now online retailing at £50.00.

This collaboration has definitely been worth the wait, the Saucony x Offspring 'Stealth' is revealed and it is boss!

The Shadow 6000 ‘Stealth’ - designed to avoid detection just like its low-flying military steel aircraft counterpart. This incognito style is the latest collaboration to launch from Saucony Originals, this time working with UK sneaker retailer Offspring

Following on from the success of their debut collaboration last year, the design for this shoe has been inspired by the Stealth aircraft. The Shadow 6000 silhouette, first released in 1988, has been disguised in an all-black upper consisting of black silkee suede with patent leather accents and 3M reflective matte panelling, atop a white EVA midsole with hidden speckled 3M detailing.

Working the military aircraft’s sleek yet subtle characteristics into a premium sneaker, the shoe is marked by a rubberised Offspring logo adorning the tongue, while the heel features a rubberised Offspring text logo sitting alongside Saucony’s iconic branding.

We're so pleased because the Stealth is a unisex style, with sizes ranging from UK 4 - UK12. It will also come complete in a bespoke packing box featuring aeronautical blueprint wrapping paper, matching Stealth blueprint sticker set, Stealth trump card and two sets of reflective laces (rope and flat laces).

The Shadow 6000 Stealth will be available exclusively at Offspring, both in-store and online via from Saturday 15th August 2015, priced at £110.

KR3W presents their new collection and AW15 Lookbook - Angst Breeders, inspired by the anti-authoritarian sentiment of the UK in the late seventies.

This season is an ode to all the mislead youth who chose to defy convention in order to establish their own identities. Cheers to the rebellious few who come as they are and leave the rest behind. With the grit, grime and everything in between, we are the Angst Breeders.

Firmly distilled in the spirit of the KR3W Rights Refused ethos, this Fall is a natural progression from Summer 15’s Endless Bummer theme and features the gritty, dark persona inherent in the KR3W DNA alongside some inspired additions and updates.

KR3W is and always will be a denim based bottoms brand, though we see the line develop further – focussing on key cuts, styles and prints to offer greater selection on the most desirable pieces. In reflection of the season, the colour palettes of black, white and grey has had earth tones injected such as Oxblood. Heavy fabrics have been introduced to give a rugged, work wear aesthetic along with added seasonal protection and durability.

KR3W continues a rich tradition of teaming up with artists and illustrators that reflect the KR3W culture and character whilst also bringing their own personality to the table. This season you will discover collaborative pieces across the apparel and hats line from the likes of Dennis McNett and Riding Easy Records.

The collection can be found across the UK at selected skate stores. Check out some more imagery below, what are your thoughts?

THFKDLF's latest cut and sew collection consists of 6 pieces, 3 tees, 1 vest, 1 sweatshirt and 1 pullover hoody.

Like with their R.Q.S.T. collection, this features a simple monochromatic colour scheme. Again, what I really like about this brand is everything is created and constructed in house, giving the brand total freedom to explore and design a new shape for this collection. As you can see from the Lookbook each item is constructed using 3 back panels in contrasting colours to give the item a distinctive and unique look. This brand can't seem to get it wrong! Their constantly pushing boundaries and taking risks and it's so awesome to follow and enjoy the success in some really awesome products! Despite the fact their two new releases are clearly very different, there can be no dispute that their is a continuity between the two and both demonstrate elements of THFKDLF's signature style - and that is definitely the sign of a strong brand.

Their XIII Lookbook was shot out in Berlin with photographer Borke Berlin and Amadeus
Ama Thuner, check it out below and shop the collection online now!

For AW15 Sperry have teamed up with forward thinking London based label YMC on a range of footwear. Focusing on classic Sperry styles and the application of more premium fabrications such as suede, the collection reveals a greater attention to detail which can be seen through the green inner and outer sole.

YMC (You Must Create) have spent nearly 20 years developing and evolving their unique signature look. Founded in London in 1995 by Fraser Moss and Jimmy Collins, YMC creates modern, functional clothing which eschew trends in favour of understated wearable style.

The Sperry x YMC collection features across two classic silhouettes, Sperry the Cloud CVO and Cloud CVO Chukka featuring rich suede uppers with an aqua green colour pop.

The collection is priced at £90 for the Cloud CVO and £100 for the Cloud CVO Chukka. Shop all silhouettes which are available now online and from YMC & Oi Polloi.

Nike continue to revitalise one our favourite silhouettes, the Air Max 95,  to celebrate it's 20th anniversary. The latest update sees the iconic layered suede panelling replaced by our dream reflective material, 3M. YES!

Featuring varying shades of 3M mimicking the recognisable gradient panelling, the 'Neon 3M' plays host to all of our favourite OG detailing, but is rereleased bigger and better with this choice of upper. It remains bedded on a full length Air sole unit and of course, features the bright Volt embroidered accents and branding that we all know and love.

Now, with 3M, these Neon 95's will be as bright and bold at night as they are during the day - a 24/7 head- turner.

Dropping today at Nike and selected retailers like size?, Offspring and Footpatrol, this is one of 3 updated versions to our much loved 95 - The OG (£115), a premium blend of reptile, croc and safari patterns (£120) and our favourite, a completely reflective version, the Neon 3M (£120).

Check out some more imagery of the 'Neon 3M' and the other options below..

AW15 see's Vans get us winter ready with the upcoming Classic Slip-On collection. The iconic lace-free model comes in 6 neutral colourways for the upcoming winter months.

First released in 1977, and still just loved now, it's next interpretation for the 2015 winter season, sees one of our favourite silhouettes offered in a six-piece range inspired by menswear styling, and holds upgraded materials in a neutral colour palettes.

Three vintage styles are offered with “Frost Gray,” “Blue Graphite” and “True White,” which feature sophisticated suedes, leathers and wools that provide an array of textures. The Wool Sport “Pewter” is outfitted in dapper grey wool, while the rich “Burgundy” and “Brown” models sport luxe leather uppers. I really love the Wool Sport “Pewter”, I think its such a unique material to use and despite it's subtle colouring, its a head-turner! This is an understated but impressive collection for me.

The Vans 2015 Winter Classic Slip On collection is now available online. What are your thoughts? See some more imagery below...

One of our favourites, Copenhagen-based female sneaker store NAKED, teams up with ASICS for a collaborative release of the Gel Lyte V - the first ever women's only ASICS Tiger collaboration.

You can imagine my excitement getting this news come through to my inbox, its more than obvious now that us female sneakerheads are really getting noticed by the big players in the game!

This collaborative release is inspired by Naked's hometown of Copenhagen, featuring a diverse colour palette to represent different distinctive parts of the city. Its a perfect girly combo of pastels - mint, coral and a boss rain camo, signifying experiencing late night summer sunsets in the city. Dubbed 'Hafina' the Latin word for Copenhagen, this very special Gel Lyte V perfectly reflects the city Naked is based in the heart of.

It's not only the colour palette that has won me over, featuring a nubuck upper finished with awesome pops of coral and that dark camo neoprene tongue is just dreamy! Of course it would be blasphemy for me not to mention the splatter detailing and my favourite 3M finsih on the heel.

The NAKED X ASICS Tiger Gel Lyte V 'Hafina' drops August the 5th for Copenhagen Fashion Week. The most exciting thing about this release for me, not only that it's womens only, but the first 100 customers will receive a limited shoebox engraved with the 'Hafina' emblem by our good friends over at Krate&Co! An awesome way to present this collaboration! The trainer will then drop at selected retailers on 15th August retailing at €130!

Ladies, who want's these? See more images below...

You all know by now THFKDLF is one of our favourite homegrown brands, designing and creating all their pieces in their Shropshire studio. Their latest release is their R.Q.S.T collection. This is one of the most simplistic releases we've seen from THFKDLF, well known for their signature bold prints and styles. The collection is a full extension of their essentials, taking their custom shapes and making them into plain garments perfect for everyday wear. I really like this direction for the brand, there really isn't anything I enjoy more than seeing brands mature, explore and take risks and I think THFKDLF have absolutely smashed it with this collection.

The collection consists of a longline tee and vest, a curved tee and vest, a sweatshirt, drop crotch shorts and drop crotch sweatpants. All items are available in black, white or as a
pack at a discounted price. I love how clean this collection is, but its still clearly THFKDLF. They've created a different kind of collection, but one that is recognisably theirs, something some brands struggle with!

All these pieces are essentials in anyones wardrobe! I love those white drop crotch sweats, block coloured co-ords are definitely on trend this season. Shop the collection here, what are your thoughts? Check some more of the Lookbook below...

Following the success of their collaboration last year with UK sneaker retailer Offspring, Saucony Originals have invited the Offspring team back to create a design you might not see coming…

Check out this teaser, we are BEYOND excited.

The full reveal will be coming this Wednesday – 5th August….stay tuned!

This Summer sees PUMA add to their Trinomic collection with the introduction of a seasonally apt Bright Pack. Consisting of ever-popular R698 and Disc Blaze styles, these versions are stronger, bolder, one-colour executions with twists and clicks that above all, stand out.

Always breaking boundaries, PUMA has played around and explored with materials offering first-time tonal wool uppers which sit on top of traditional white Trinomic midsoles for ultimate texture variation. I love the use of wool on trainers, I think it gives such a 'high-end', premium feel to any silhouette. So featured on an such iconic and already strong, good-looking models just makes this pack superior.

With something for everyone and a definite statement for the warmer months, this clean pack comes in array of bright colour ways with the inclusion of black for those that want to make less of a statement through a bold, colour-pop to the outsole only. These colour combinations work so well for me as a collection, block colouring is in for SS15, and those mint R698's are pretty much my pastel dream.

The R698 Bright in Fluro Green, Black, Royal Blue and Mint Green is available at Footasylum, Size?, Chimp and END from 3rd August 2015. The Disc Blaze Bright in Purple, Black and Orange is available at Footasylum, also dropping on the 3rd August 2015.
