Innovative footwear protection brand, Crep Protect have launched their charity initiative with Variety, the Children’s Charity, with an inaugural “Sneaker Drop” recycling point at East London’s BoxPark.

The global lifestyle brand, known for its signature hydrophobic spray, which creates an invisible, protective barrier that prevents rain and stains from damaging footwear, will be launching a Sneaker Drop – footwear recycling centre - at the pop-up mall in Shoreditch, East London. Set up to encourage people to donate their unwanted trainers and footwear, the shoes will be collected by partner company, ERC [European Recycling Company Ltd]. Once they have been processed, Variety, the Children’s Charity, will receive a donation from ERC which will help the charity to improve the lives of young people. Initially, the Sneaker Drop will be housed exclusively at BoxPark Shoreditch, but the initiative will eventually be rolled out across London and the UK.

This is such an awesome idea and something everyone who has unwanted trainers about at home should support and get involved in! The sneaker world has always been such a positive and tight community and this just highlights that!

The AW15 PUMA x BAPE® collection features a fusion of classic streetwear and sports by integrating BAPE®’s iconic camouflage print and graphics into our favourite PUMA sports performance apparel and footwear.

Founded in 1993, BAPE® has elevated lifestyle streetwear to the highest level, setting trends and influencing musicians and artists around the world. The new collaboration collection has been designed to make a strong statement on streetwear’s heart and soul; sport.

Following the success of the first collection, the highly anticipated, additional PUMA Creeper colourways are here!

Remixing the iconic PUMA Suede, the PUMA Creeper exudes a little bit of rebel with its notorious creeper platform sole and suede upper which both harnesses and blends the music and fashion feel of the revolutionary punk era with PUMA's deep sporting heritage.

The PUMA Creeper is the brainchild of PUMA's Creative Director, Rihanna and is part of the PUMA by Rihanna collection under the FENTY label.

Under her creative direction, this month's drop features new colour variations consisting of peacoat/cool blue, off white/gum and coral cloud pink/green/oatmeal.

I cannot get enough of the Creeper and I am seriously struggling to decide on a coloruway before they're all gone!

London based brand 4LoveAndMoney have launched their AW15 campaign.

The brand was founded by Grime DJ 'Ordio Kid' who's love of music from his days starting out at London raves has meant the brand is rooted in grime culture and every collection explores and celebrates the scene.

Informing principles of balance; or the idea that "what you love can also be what you earn", 4LoveAndMoney captures the ambitious essence of the scene's beginnings, whilst illustrating the artistic struggle for the MC/Producer!

With key pieces including the 'Take Dat.Wat' Tee and Hoodie inspired by a Dizzee Rascal lyric and featuring a very 2000's Nokia mobile phone. The collection is full of nostalgia!

I love the aesthetic of this campaign, it really captures the gritty essence of the grime scene for me. The AW15 Campaign was shot by Curtis Jehsta, styled and cast by Kitty Cowell and MUA by Sophie Cox.

The collection is available now online with and prices ranging from £20-£50.

The PUMA Adventurer Pack consists of three drops releasing throughout the year. The idea behind it references a time in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, when resourceful European sneakerheads frequently ventured to the United States to source rare, vintage or new footwear that were unavailable in their local markets. Selling these exclusive imports soon turned out to be a profound business model and in some cases laid the foundation to the opening of an actual store.

With Sneakers N Stuff and Solebox taking centre stage earlier this year, in the third and final installment, PUMA collaborate with one of Europe’s most original Sneaker stores - Hanon Shop from Aberdeen, Scotland.

In the early 90's the two Toft brothers, founders of Hanon Shop, flew out to California to visit relatives in Huntington Beach, Orange County to source rare footwear that could not be found in the UK. The first visit was during a harsh winter in Aberdeen and the inspiration for the shoes draws from that memory - the darkness and cold of wintery Scotland clashing with the bright and sunny warmth of Southern California.

DC Shoes have released their latest unisex model, Heathrow*. Engineered for performance, designed for lifestyle this is most definitely one of the comfiest trainers I have ever had on foot.

The lightness and comfort of the silhouette comes at no cost to the aesthetic. This sleek and simple design speaks for itself, even in this subtle but gorgeous grey palette that I was lucky enough to receive from the guys over at DC.

It's so awesome that little feet are getting a look in on these! The all new Heathrow is available in fun prints, lux materials, and classic colours, so there is something for everyone,

What are your thoughts on these?

The Red Bull athlete and BMX rider Kriss Kyle released his newest film 'Kaleidoscope' earlier this month, in association with Red Bull, Sony and Ridley Scott Associates and we got a chance to catch up with him to talk about it...

Kriss Kyle is widely regarded as one of the most unique and creative BMX riders of his generation and 'Kaleidoscope' is one of his most ambitious projects to date.

‘Kaleidoscope’ sees him perform a number of world’s first tricks in an ever-changing environment that isn’t quite what it seems. If you haven't seen it yet you can watch it above or click here!

Red Bull Media House and Ridley Scott Associates produced the Kaleidoscope riding film, using a combination of moving set pieces and stunning optical techniques that enable Kriss to showcase breath-taking riding, finding riding lines where others might see dead ends.

Speaking of the project Kriss said, “Kaleidoscope has been the most surreal thing that I have ever been involved in. Riding a park that is constantly moving and shifting was challenging but enabled me to pull off lines and tricks that have never been seen before. I have had the opportunity to work with creative and technical people from worlds that I never thought I would be part of with my BMX bike. I am so excited by the end result and all the work that has been put in feels justified.

The UNDEFEATED x Alpha x Burton collaboration brings authentic street aesthetics to a collection built on premium, rider-driven functionality. Athletic and military inspirations blend seamlessly with streamlined performance for a rugged match-up that's good to go on the mountain or around the block.

Burton team up with both Alpha Industries and Undefeated on a triple collaboration for AW15. Mixing military and streetwear aesthetics with the rugged outdoor garment technology made for winter wear, the “Trinity” collection promises to bring forth a new level of hype to the mountains or the streets. Seen in the lookbook is a variety of outerwear — flight suits, M65 jackets, bombers, N-2B coats, as well as pants, goggles, face masks, gloves and boots. Lastly, luggage options like a duffle bag and a new backpack help round out the collection, all with Velcro patches for customisation.

I love this collaboration, the drop is available now here

KUTULA, an emerging London based streetwear and lifestyle brand, release their debut unisex collection. Kutula, which means ‘peace’ in a Zulu dialect, was inspired by designer Jimi Herrtage’s trip to South Africa earlier this year.

Herrtage’s vision is to create a platform for collaboration with undiscovered creative communities and cultures across the globe. While the Kutula line will be based in the UK and this season will derive inspiration from South Africa, in the future it will look to work with emerging talent based in various international locations.

KUTULA’s AW15 collection is primarily based on a monochrome palette using the urban camouflage print throughout the 34-piece collection. The repetitive print seamlessly connects all pieces of the collection together, uniting all those who represent the brand; becoming part of the KUTULA army globally.

The athleisure staples consist of reversible bomber jackets, fitted tracksuits with tapered leg, low slung loop-hole vests and essential tees for men, while the womenswear offering includes Lycra basics with functional but flattering cuts. Signature crop tops, camouflage leggings, micro shorts and oversize sweaters form the womenswear line, which comes complete with an effortless, authoritative edge. Prices start from £25.
