THE COLORADO 'FLORAL PACK' BY CAT FOOTWEAR


Spring has finally sprung thanks to CAT Footwear! Unveiling the Colorado 'Floral Pack', a suitably flowery arrangement of styles for SS16! 

This update brings a nice feminine touch to the Colorado, a relatively masculine style boot, but still a personal favourite of mine. It's the perfect merging bold female attitude, powerful prints and fabrications and a gorgeous blossoming colour palette. The four grunge-inspired showcases two spring-style floral prints on full grain leather in both a white and pink colourway. The leather is designed to wear and distress overtime, creating a lived in, one-of-a-kind look, unique to each wearer, a touch I absolutely love! This duo feature my favourite of the pack, the pink floral Colorado perfectly pops with colour and really sits beautifully on that translucent sole! 

The Colorado Curtsy boot presents the two further styles, this time in speckled pink and white pastel-hued leather. If its not floral, you cant get much more 'spring' like than with pastels! Featuring a detachable bow (cute!), the cushioned cuff and microfiber lining ensure comfort is as always, of paramount importance.

VANS 50TH ANNIVERSARY GOLD PACK

 

In a continued celebration of its 50-year anniversary, Vans releases the Gold pack to further commemorate the momentous milestone of “Off The Wall” heritage. With an aesthetic inspired by its golden year, Vans presents a collection of footwear and apparel that features gold embellishments and archived prints to honour its design legacy. 

This robust 22-piece assortment includes iconic Vans silhouettes such as the Authentic, Classic Slip-On, Era 59, Old Skool and Sk8-Hi Reissue alongside a deluxe range of hoodies, hats, bags and tees.

The Vans 50th Anniversary Gold pack channels the brand’s heritage by highlighting significant design emblems such as the checkerboard, the Sidestripe and Duke Kahanamoku’s vintage aloha pattern in an elevated aesthetic


In the footwear offering, the checkerboard can be seen as a unique perforated pattern atop a golden Authentic and a multi-toned execution of the Classic Slip-On, while Vans’ coveted Sidestripe marks the panels of the Old Skool and Sk8-Hi Reissue. Inspired by legendary surfer Duke Kahanamoku, the floral motif is brought back from the archives as a premium foil print across an additional colorway of the Authentic and a dual delivery of Sk8-Hi Reissues. The Era 59 finishes the sneaker capsule with a hit of gold on its heel. 

SUMMER IS COMING WITH BATOKO SWIMSUITS!

 

It's that time again! My holiday is booked and the countdown begins! With 13 weeks to go (lol) I'm already on the hunt for my new beach rotation and my first port of call is always BATOKO.

Last summer I debuted my Cactus swimsuit from BATOKO in Santorini and it was my holiday favourite! The quality of the one piece was second to none and the fit was so flattering! Who said swimsuits aren't cool? So this year, I want to add to my swimwear collection with another unique design and BATOKO is the only place for this!

What I really loved about this piece is I could literally chuck on a pair of denim shorts and it took me straight from the beach to the bar! I wish Southsea was warm enough for me to get away with doing that!


With a selection of new designs (the good ladies sent me over some sneak peaks to share with you too) I have so many to choose from! They've also given the swimsuits a bit of a revamp for 2016. Using a new style fabric to make the fit even nicer, BATOKO have used an all-over thicker, more luxurious Italian spandex material!

Honestly, I want them all but for this year, it's between the Pool Swimsuit (available in April) and the Dinosass for me!

ASICS X OFFSPRING 20TH ANNIVERSARY - GEL-LYTE V




Following the success of OFFSPRING and ASICS ‘Desert Pack’ collaboration, the brands join forces again to spin an entirely new concept; opening the OFFSPRING 20th anniversary celebrations with a bang. 

Twenty years ago, OFFSPRING was the first sneaker store to grace the cobbled street of Covent Garden. So, in honour of this occasion, OFFSPRING have teamed up with ASICS to present an update on the popular GEL-Lyte V profile. Drawing inspiration from those very cobble-stone streets and famous Piazza responsible for erecting the very first OFFSPRING store.
The new limited edition GEL-Lyte V is no exception to the ASICS style rule. Rich beige suede’s and nubuck go hand-in-hand to replicate the off-white stone that paves the novel Covent Garden market stalls. The lining nods towards the original 1996 OFFSPRING branding colour palette, and the bespoke cobbled street sock liners create the first of a two-part ASICS collaboration, to celebrate the OFFSPRING 20th anniversary this year.

The personal finishing touch comes in the form of an ASICS stamp and Japanese symbol '=+', meaning 20, on the sock and lace tips; a subtle reference to the Japanese heritage of ASICS. 

The Gel-Lyte V will be available only in OFFSPRING from this month! We want a pair of these on our feet so bad! What do you guys think?

BY PARRA - 'THE DETACHED' COLLECTION


Rockwell by Parra just dropped part 2 of their Spring Collection titled 'The Deatched'.

The collection drops on the same weekend as Parra's Pop Up shop located at Ben-G Skateshop

The item that particularly peaked our interest from the preview was the 'Corduroy Jacket Orange Juice Jones'.

The jacket is available in a limited Off White and a Navy Blue. I love corduroy, but it's the lining details that had me sold. Its like your own little Parra secret, a piece of artwork hidden just for you!

It's available now, along with the other pieces in the collection online for €169, but there is no doubt the quality is worth every penny!

SAUCONY 'EGG HUNT' PACK


It's the start of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend and what better way to kick it off that with a seasonal sneaker drop!

PUMA SPORTSTYLE EXCLUSIVELY AT JD SPORTS


Last week PUMA announced their latest women’s ambassador, London starlet Lucy Watson as the face of a brand new Sportstyle collection dropping exclusively at JD Sports. 

Lucy exploded onto the scene and our screens on E4’s hit reality show Made in Chelsea. The TV personality is often sharing exercise and fashion tips with fans, promoting a healthy lifestyle and flaunting her honed physique, Lucy’s effortless, versatile style always pays homage to fashion forward leisurewear, making her the perfect advocate for global sports brand PUMA, who are placing huge focus and emphasis on their women’s business.

Last year saw the announcement of Rihanna as Creative Director, who showcased her first Fashion Week show under the PUMA umbrella at New York fashion week and most recently teaming up with with Style Icon Kylie Jenner, 2016 is about heavily supporting women. We love it!

The answer to the ‘Athleisure’ trend boom, the collection itself is a fresh and bold spin on classic apparel styles, comprised of a mixture of sweats, tees, shorts and leggings. Taking on a simple monochrome colour palette with mesh detailing and logo prints in iconic PUMA branding, this collection provides an exciting range of wearable staples.

OBEY WOMENS X HUF CAPSULE COLLECTION


OBEY Women’s and HUF have teamed up together to produce a boss capsule collection!

Keith Hufnagel and Shepard Fairey first met in the 90’s skating in the Northeast. After years of building their careers in skateboarding and the art scene respectively, they both ended up on the West Coast with their own brands.

Though OBEY and HUF have established unique perspectives and styles, there is a common sentiment of doing things on their own terms.

The HUF x OBEY project was born from this shared DIY philosophy. What originally began as a shoe collaboration quickly grew into a full capsule collection as the brands found more commonality. The ‘Obey Triple Triangle’ graphic, a marriage between both labels’ iconic brand logos, ties the collaboration together.



The capsule collection is clean, and SO up our street. What I really love about it is that nothing has been lost with this women's collection. All the reasons I love to wear mens clothes has been retained when creating this collection - I hate it when brands answer to a women 'version' is crop tops and tight fits. So yeah, this collaborative collection ticks all the boxes for me!

PUMA have unveiled their latest women’s training campaign focusing on their new fitness footwear style offering, the PUMA Fierce. Style icon Kylie Jenner headlines the campaign along with other PUMA ambassadors which launches April 1, 2016.
